Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Core Technical Skills
- Proven experience in SQL development and database management.
- SQL and PL/SQL Proficiency: Strong command of SQL for querying, data manipulation, and database object creation (tables, views, indexes). Expertise in PL/SQL (or T-SQL for SQL Server) for developing stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Database Design and Modeling: Ability to design and implement efficient database schemas, including understanding of normalization, denormalization, and data warehousing concepts.
- Performance Tuning and Optimization: Skill in analyzing and optimizing SQL queries, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing solutions like indexing, query hints.
- ETL/ELT Processes: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes for data integration and data warehousing, potentially using tools like SSIS or custom scripting.
- SSRS reports: Solid experience in designing, developing, and deploying SSRS reports (tabular, matrix, and chart-based reports).
Banking Domain Skills (Optional)
- Understanding of anti-money laundering(AML) banking products
- Understanding of core banking products (e.g., loans, deposits, payments, credit cards), financial processes.
